LASIK works by re-shaping the front surface of the eye, the cornea.
In a highly precise procedure, our skilled surgeon will start the two step procedure by using a laser that generates tiny pulses of light to create the microscopic bubbles under the surface of your cornea.
The surgeon will gently separate the layers to lift up a flap on the cornea and proceed onto the second step by using the German designed and built Schwind 1050 excimer laser to reshape the area below the flap. In a matter of seconds the procedure is complete and the flap simply placed back in position.
Our Re:Vision surgeons have successfully performed more than 15,000 laser vision correction procedures, fixing shortsightedness, longsightedness and astigmatism.
