‘Same-Day Sight’: Everything You Need to Know About Our Same-Day Offering

Here at Re:Vision Sight Correction Centre, we understand that even if it is a priority, finding the time for a LASIK procedure isn’t always simple. That’s why we’ve put together a new offer to help busy people fast track their vision correction—Same-Day Sight. Through this system, patients can opt to book their laser suitability assessment and laser eye surgery for the Same-Day, speeding up the process as much as possible and making it perfect for those who don’t have a lot of time to spare.

How does Same-Day Sight work?

At Re:Vision, we schedule patients for an assessment in the morning, and then ask them to return a few hours later in the afternoon in order to carry out the procedure. Most patients are only too happy to go off and have a leisurely lunch to fill the few hours in-between.

Having the assessment and returning to have the procedure a little later significantly reduces the timing of the entire process. Patients no longer need to take multiple days off work and we’ve found that locals are choosing Same-Day Sight too because they are excited about regaining their vision and prefer to have the procedure carried out as soon as possible!

It also greatly assists those who are travelling from out of town to complete the procedure on the same day so that they overnight and complete their one day post operative check before heading home, with overall savings on accommodation and travel costs with an added bonus of not having to spend more time away from their loved ones!

What do you need to be eligible?

First, it’s important to make clear that this offer is only possible for laser vision correction. Unfortunately, other surgical procedures can’t be completed within a day. 

This means that you’re more likely to be a candidate if you:

• are 20 years old or older,
• haven’t experienced major changes in your vision for at least a year, and
• have otherwise healthy eyes.

Some patients find that they are better suited to another procedure instead, such as Implantable Contact Lenses (ICLs), or Refractive Lens Exchange (RLE), depending on the nature of their focusing issue. These procedures cannot be completed within one day.

How much will it cost?

While LASIK can seem expensive on the surface, the truth is that it’s much cheaper than a lifetime of replacing glasses or contacts. Laser vision correction is a big investment, but it’s one that consistently pays off, and the earlier you invest in it, the more you save over time.
